Walton-

When Pfizer first moved to Walton Oaks, we supported the Walton on the Hill community through funding initiatives focused on health, science and education.
Although Pfizer encourages and welcomes applications to the Foundation from the local area, they realised that they needed to offer more and be good neighbours by supporting the local community, over and above that offered by the Foundation.
They introduced the Local Community Fund of £10,000 to support local community schemes and events.

This programme was replaced in 2005 with the Pfizer UK Foundation. The Foundation
supports community-
arising from social, economic, cultural and demographic factors. This corporate initiative has been hugely successful to date, benefiting 121 projects and over 260,000 people from some of the UK's
most deprived areas.
